When stress lives in the body too long, you might notice:
Emotions
anxiety, grief, anger, shame close to the surface
Thoughts
self-criticism, looping, future-tripping, feeling never enough
Patterns
freezing, avoiding, overworking, numbing, reacting in ways that don’t feel like you, or
feeling distant in relationships
--
These are not personal failures.
They are nervous system adaptations.
How We Might Work Together
I offer therapy for adults, couples, families, & groups.
Our work is tailored to your goals and may include:
EMDR & Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Processing unresolved experiences so they stop hijacking your present-day reactions, relationships, creativity, leadership, and capacity to stay engaged. I support your healing at the nervous system level.
Relational Cultural Therapy
Building relationships that feel mutual, energizing, and real, not depleting or isolating. I help you explore patterns shaped by past experiences, strengthen your voice and desires, and support connection that increases resilience.
"Nonviolence Toward Self" Therapy
If you are a person who tends to extend compassion outward but are harsh inwardly, this work can help reduce self-criticism, inner pressure, and self-abandonment. Drawing upon nonviolence principles, neuroscience, and interpersonal neurobiology, we build emotional clarity and steadiness without disconnecting from what matters.
Referrals and care coordination available when additional support would be helpful.

Reaching out can be a big step - especially if you're used to being the one others rely on.
You’re welcome to contact me through Psychology Today for details or to ask questions.
If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay too. I will respond as soon as I'm able or I will help you with referrals.
Finding the right support matters. If it turns out you need something different, I’m happy to help guide you toward other resources when possible.
You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to reach out.
Therapy can be a place to process what you’re navigating, restore confidence, and build resilience before you reach a breaking point.
